Brokers/Advisors
Our firm has successfully guided clients through a wide variety of political and economic changes since 1961 such as:
No one knows what the future holds. But, with our experience, we will be prepared to navigate the financial investment waters safely and capitalize on the opportunities.
Many find it exciting to think of making a "killing" in a particular stock or other investment. It certainly does make for great conversation. But, when it comes to your serious money (the retirement account or nest egg that's designed to help you reach your lifetime goals) we believe in a different approach. At K.W. Chambers, we excel in handling your serious money. The best potential for long-term growth of capital continues to exist with the ownership of stock from quality, growing companies. The most effective and efficient way for most people to accomplish this is through the ownership of Mutual Funds, owning a share of a large basket of stocks managed by a professional. This approach offers diversification, which is difficult for the small investor to achieve alone.
Once a plan has been devised and implemented, one of the most important aspects in seeing it to fruition is discipline. It is usually a lack of information or unanswered questions that causes a client to lose faith in their plan. A Financial Advisor will help you when you have concerns and questions. You will be encouraged to stay on course, making adjustments as needed without starting over again with another plan.
The majority of people, who are investing in the markets today, through mutual funds and retirement plans, have never experienced a serious market downturn. The question on many people's mind is just how many of them will stay on course when the market isn't heading straight up. We can remember a time when many of our clients in the 1970s were advised to keep investing and to hold on through very tough times in those markets. The clients that took our advice were the same clients that became wealthy in the 80s and 90s and continue to benefit. K.W. Chambers offers you that long-term experience.
K.W. Chambers believes in the independent Financial Advisor/Broker. The investment industry is flooded with advertisements for do it yourself financial services. Many people flock to these places in search of savings. While an advertisement with an 800 number may be great for ordering cookware from a TV shopping network, that is not a wise long range plan for life's needs such as education costs and retirement.
Decisions made today will influence the kind of life we will live years ahead. A long-term plan is not something that can be done once and forgotten. To be successful, it must evolve over the years as needs and means change. The value of having a competent advisor at K.W. Chambers who takes the time to understand your goals, and works with you over time to achieve them, is immeasurable.
Most K.W. Chambers Financial Advisors run their own financial services business. Many accountants, insurance professionals, and Certified Financial Planners have become affiliated with us. Our Advisors have the freedom to choose from a wide range of services, and never have a company force them to sell a certain product.
Being independent can create challenges. In this complex financial world it is impossible to know everything, or how to handle every situation. Our Advisors are connected to a network of professionals from a firm that has stood the test of time. When a unique situation arises, your Advisor can find someone who has handled that same situation before. Our people are independent, but not alone.
Datatex Investment Services, Inc. is a Securities & Exchange Commission Registered Investment Advisor and has been in business since 1988. Datatex offers the average investor a "no-hassle", economical way to keep accounts up to date.
Timing is critical in investment decisions. If you owned gold in the late 70s and early 80s you saw a huge increase in value, If you kept gold until today you saw that gain disappear. We've seen real estate boom, bust, and boom again. The most important thing is not if, but when you owned these commodities. The same is true for different types of mutual funds and investment portfolios that exist today.
Datatex can be hired to monitor your chosen mutual fund group or family. Technical data is watched constantly to determine which funds in your group have the strongest upward trend. When a certain fund shows itself to be stronger, based on statistical facts, you are automatically moved into that fund without sales charges. Typically Datatex will have your assets spread over the top two or three funds in a group. The company does not make these moves constantly, only when real trends change. This usually occurs a few times a year. Remember, a mutual fund manager has to manage the fund within its objective (i.e. small cap, global, sector etc.). At times it may not be possible to make money in a given area, even for the best manager. That is the time when you need a firm like Datatex to step in and change sectors or funds. Approximately 80% of all investment gains are based on proper asset allocation.
Datatex manages funds for a percentage of assets that are under its management. Fees vary by type and size of account, and are outlined in the Disclosure Statement you receive before making a decision to contract for their services. Because the fee is an asset-based percentage, Datatex has an incentive to see your account grow. More information can be obtained from Datatexs brochure and Disclosure Statement.
